The current AIW Championship belt (2013–present)
The AIW Championship is a professional wrestling world championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion Apex Caliber Wrestling (ACW) for their developmental brand Adrenaline Impact Wrestling (AIW). Introduced on May 1, 2013, it is the top championship of AIW. The inaugural and current champion is Bennet Curse.
History

The championship was first introduced on May 1, 2013, when ACW co-owners Jesse Alvarez and Joshua Garza announced a "Adrenaline Rush" tournament, featuring four developmental roster AIW wrestlers and four main roster ACW wrestlers competing to be crowned as the inaugural AIW Champion in a knockout system format. The tournament took place in over two days; the quarterfinals began on May 1, 2013, at a house show followed by the semifinals and finals on May 2, 2013, at AIW Genesis, the premiere episode of AIW, with Bennet Curse defeating Kenshin Himura in the tournament final.
